Peruvian Amb meets with Korea-Peru Friendship League head

Peruvian Ambassador to South Korea, Daul Matute, held a meeting with lawmaker and Korea-Peru Friendship League Chairman, Min Hong-chul, in Seoul, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on Wednesday.

The Asian politician is also a member of the Land, Infrastructure, and Transportation Committee and has been part of the Defense Commission at South Korea's National Assembly.

Representative Min stated that he would be traveling to Peru from November 18 to 25 joined by colleague Jeon Dong-Man in order to strengthen bilateral relations between both countries' Legislative Branches.

Similarly, the dignitary plans to hold meetings with various authorities in Peru to address infrastructure projects that could be developed by Korean companies.

In addition, the guest will visit the southern Andean city of Cusco to inspect in-situ the progress in the construction process of Chinchero International Airport by a Korean consortium.

The Peruvian diplomatic mission chief expressed to Representative Min the will of the Embassy to contribute to the full success of his upcoming trip.

The future occasion will serve to further strengthen the excellent ties between the two nations within the framework of the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations in the year 2023.
