Peru's VP: Country agenda must be redirected to solving population's problems

On Tuesday, the Vice-President of the Republic Dina Boluarte asserted that the country's agenda must be redirected towards solving the major problems faced by the population.


In this sense, the also Development and Social Inclusion minister urged Congress members to reflect and support governability. 

"The country's agenda must be redirected towards solving the major problems of the Peruvian population. We call on parliamentarians to reflect and support governability, overcoming the legal and constitutional rupture which opens up the possibility for a presidential vacancy," the government official said via Twitter.

Besides, Boluarte pointed out that democratic dialogue should be granted an opportunity so as to jointly build a way out of the crisis.

This request by the dignitary joins that of Ministers Anibal Torres (Justice-Human Rights), Hernando Cevallos (Health), Pedro Francke (Economy-Finance), and Betssy Chavez (Labor-Employment Promotion), who called on politicians to reflect with the aim of working for the country's stability and governability.
