The Association of Peruvian Exporters (Adex) has reported that Peru's trade balance was positive between January and November 2020, totaling US$2.878 billion.
"While exports amounted to US$35.014 billion, imports reached US$32.135 billion," Adex indicated.

Adex also indicated that, between January and November this year, Peruvian exports totaled US$35.014 billion, a 16.1% decline due to global and local effects.
Thus, traditional exports amounted to US$23.55 billion (-19.5%) and non-traditional ones reached US$11.432 billion (-8.1%).
Nevertheless, the agro-industry in the non-traditional export sector grew 8.2% to US$6.022 billion in the above-mentioned period.
Peru’s most demanded agro-industrial products in international markets were blueberries, avocados, grapes, frozen giant squid, and asparagus.
"The top market –which accounts for 31% of the total– was the United States, followed far behind by the Netherlands, Chile, Spain, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia, and China," Adex explained.
