Peru's team holds training session at National Stadium before Brazil clash

Peru's national soccer team held a training session at the Lima-based National Stadium ahead of its second match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers against Brazil.

As is known, this clash will be held precisely at the National Stadium on October 13 at 7:00 p.m. (local time).

The match would see Jefferson Farfan playing since the beginning and Christofer Gonzales replacing Christian Cueva.

The practice took place with Raul Ruidiaz, Aldair Rodriguez, Christian Ramos, and Alex Valera. Thus, the red-white squad completed the training session scheduled for this afternoon.

Coach Ricardo Gareca rehearsed with the following 11 players: Gallese, Advincula, Zambrano, Abram, Trauco, Tapia, Aquino, Yotun, Carrillo, Gonzales, and Farfan.

Even though Christian Cueva was present in the training session, it seems that Christofer Gonzales will be the first-team player.

Another change from the Paraguay match would be the presence of Jefferson Farfan as striker.

As is known, Peru and Paraguay tied 2-2 on Thursday evening in their opening match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.
