In a message shared by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), the Peruvian national soccer team encouraged the population to get vaccinated and defeat COVID-19.

Gianluca Lapadula, Miguel Trauco, Wilder Cartagena, Santiago Ormeño, Raziel Garcia, and Alex Valera joined forces to convince the population to "get vaccinated without fear in order to get together again."

Ormeño emphasized that the vaccines are safe and save lives, while Trauco stressed the need to get vaccinated to take care of one another.

For his part, Garcia stated that the pandemic will be overcome if we work together, noting the significant importance of receiving two doses to be immunized.

Finally, Cartagena urged Peruvians to lend their shoulder for the country when the time comes.
