on Monday emphasized that the fight against crime and impunity is one of her administration's pillar, adding that Executive Branch members work tirelessly on this issue for the benefit of the population.
"We want to build a safer Peru, where girls, boys, youth, and adults can live in peace and tranquility, where impunity is not the news every day," she expressed.
The top official specified that, within the framework of this objective, the Executive Branch, through Pronabi, delivers 86 vehicles as a clear sign of the commitment to Peruvians.
"These units, seized from crimes to the detriment of the (Peruvian) State, will be used for social and citizen security work carried out by institutions such as regional governments, district municipalities, the Interior Ministry, and the Armed Forces," she indicated.
The Head of State explained that Puno will receive 36 units, while Tumbes will be granted 35, and Lima will receive 10. Additionally, five machines will be transferred to municipalities located outside the capital.
"Thus, these assets acquire a social, economic, and financial value, which will contribute to our society's well-being," she highlighted.
The top official indicated that her administration recognizes the important work carried out by Pronabi in the management of seized assets.
Mrs. Boluarte specified that, since its creation to date, the entity has delivered over 6,000 assets in custody and more than 2,700 in the form of temporary use assignment in favor of various State-run institutions.
She added that the work of this organization attached to the Justice Ministry is essential in the fight against corruption, crime, and impunity, while congratulating its members on their seventh anniversary.
Today's event took place at the Justice and Human Rights Ministry headquarters in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
