Peru's President Sagasti returns to Government Palace after attending Te Deum

Following his participation in the Solemn Mass and Te Deum held on the occasion of Peru's 200th Independence Day celebrations, the President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti has returned to the Government Palace.

After leaving the Catholic temple, the Head of State returned to the headquarters of the Executive Branch on foot.

Members of the Ministerial Cabinet were awaiting at the Honor Courtyard of the Government Palace.


Castillo will take the reins of the country after the National Election Board (JNE) proclaimed him as winner of the presidential runoff election held on June 6.
