The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo on Tuesday announced that the new Ministerial Cabinet will be sworn in in the coming hours.

"We are going to swear in the new Ministerial Cabinet today in the next hours," he expressed.

The announcement was made during his participation in the swearing-in of the new board of directors of the National Assembly of Regional Governors (ANGR).

Within this framework, the Head of State emphasized that it is important to look at the regions and decentralize public resources. Thus, he called on regional governors to join efforts with the Government.

"Tomorrow, we will have our first session of the Council of Ministers with the new Cabinet, and we want the regional governors' agenda to be debated and discussed (…)," he expressed.

For this reason, the top official summoned regional authorities for a meeting at the Government Palace so as to address the problems that their jurisdictions are going through, including the paralysis of development projects due to litigation.

During his speech, the President emphasized that his administration is the outcome of a democratic act, just like that of the regional governors grouped at the ANGR.
