The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte held a meeting with representatives of the Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) fund, whom she assured that Peru is an economically sustainable country, with clear rules, legal security, and that has its doors open to investments aimed at closing infrastructure gaps.

During the session, GIP founding partner Matthew Harris affirmed that said fund wishes to expand its investment portfolio in Peru and contribute to the enhancement of its infrastructure in favor of the most vulnerable population.

Moreover, the Peruvian Head of State held a meeting with Vice Chair, Chief People and Corporate Affairs at Visa, Kelly Mahon Tullier, who affirmed that the company is interested in expanding operations in Peru, through inclusive digital transformation for the empowerment of consumers and small businesses.

During the meeting, they discussed women's empowerment, digitalization, as well as the formalization of micro- and small-enterprises.

In turn, Mrs. Boluarte pointed out that the Government is working on the issue of digital government for the payment of social programs, something that could be accelerated with the participation of Visa.
