Peru's President highlights actions in favor of Ayacucho's development

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte reported on various measures that her Government has been taking in favor of the development and well-being of Ayacucho region.

In her speech at the ceremony that laid the groundwork for the paving of a road in this jurisdiction, the Head of State mentioned projects linked to health, agriculture and education sectors, among others.

Mrs. Boluarte pointed out that the construction of four hospitals in Ayacucho is being promoted: San Miguel, Cangallo, San Juan Bautista and Coracora. 

"We are investing more than S/417 million (about US$111.6 million) in these hospitals. Health cannot just remain in promises," she remarked.

In this regard, the top official stressed that in this area her Government aims to improve medical care for the Ayacucho people.

Likewise, the President of Peru affirmed that the distribution of educational material at all schools across the country will be completed before March.

This will allow the 2024 school year to begin on a regular basis, she said.

"Education comes first. Knowledge and know-how will lead us to be better Peruvians," the dignitary added.
