The President of the Republic Martin Vizcarra on Friday announced that Phase 4 of the Economic Reactivation will partially begin on October 1.

The Head of State indicated that the Council of Ministers approved a Supreme Decree to enact the beginning of Phase 4, but it does not include all the activities left to be resumed.

He added that some businesses, which had already been operating, will be allowed to offer an increased capacity to customers.

"Restaurants and related services had a maximum capacity of 40%, and now we are increasing it to 50%," he noted.

Today's remarks were made in a press conference held at the Government Palace in Lima.

President Vizcarra was joined by Prime Minister Walter Martos and other Cabinet members on the occasion.
