"The rate of virus reproduction continues to decline slowly at the national level since January, going from 1.2 to 1.04. Ideally, it must be less than 1 so that we can be able to sense that the infection rate is decreasing," she expressed.
"Mobility decreased in extreme risk areas, and in general throughout the country, by an average of 40% (…). The death toll from COVID-19 has been experiencing a slight slowdown," she stressed.
Remarks were made during a press conference held at the Government Palace in Lima.
