Peru's Permanent Representative to Int'l Organizations in Geneva attends WTO MC13

Permanent Representative of Peru to the International Organizations in Geneva, Switzerland, Ambassador Ana Cecilia Gervasi, is participating in the 13th Ministerial Conference (MC13) of the World Trade Organization (WTO), which is taking place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the Peruvian Mission in Geneva reported o social media.

The diplomat and Peru's former foreign affairs minister is part of the Peruvian delegation attending this important multilateral event, led by Foreign Trade and Tourism Minister Juan Carlos Mathews.

Gervasi took part in various preparatory meetings within the framework of the 13th WTO Ministerial Conference.

One of them was the bilateral meeting with United Arab Emirates' Foreign Trade Minister Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi to promote bilateral economic and trade ties.

Likewise, she was part of the group of Latin American countries promoting agricultural trade reform.

Ambassador Gervasi also participated in the ministerial preparatory meeting of the Cairns Group and in the joint initiative on investment facilitation for development.
