Prime Minister Hector Valer on Wednesday stated that the new Ministerial Cabinet will work on job creation and greater economic stability, without leaving the fight against citizen insecurity behind.

Therefore, the high-ranking official announced he will meet with international investors and national businesspeople so that they have peace of mind.

"We tell the country that this is a new Ministerial Cabinet of hope and consensus. This is a Cabinet that will generate more jobs and greater economic stability," Valer told RPP Noticias.

Concerning the economic policy, the PCM head pointed out that the Government must implement what the Political Constitution says, meaning a social market economy that promotes competition and attracts private investment.

In this regard, the Prime Minister highlighted the professional experience of new Economy-Finance Minister Oscar Miguel Graham.

Regarding the objectives of his administration, Valer pointed out that he will collect the proposal of the electoral campaign and the inauguration speech of President Pedro Castillo on July 28, 2021, as well as the proposals of the cabinets that had preceded him.

Likewise, the government's new spokesman said he will promote decentralization so that the Executive Branch can help regional and local governments in the successful execution of the budget allocated to them, as well as to provide them with technological tools.

Moreover, the also-congressman affirmed he will implement an awareness mechanism in the country regarding the Constituent Assembly.

In this sense, he explained, it will go through a maturation process of several years to reach the constituent moment.
