Peru's minister of justice to attend Ibero-American meeting

Peru's Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Eda Rivas will travel to Chile for the 18th Plenary Session of the Conference of Ministers of Justice of Ibero-American Countries (COMJIB) to be held on April 4-5, 2013.
The objective of the meeting is to promote the creation of public policies on justice in the Ibero-American territories.

At the meeting, representatives will seek to reach regional and sub-regional partnerships and also discuss the progress of various important agreements reached at the 17th Plenary Session, which took place in Mexico City on 21 and 22 October 2010.

According to supreme resolution, delegations will discuss transnational organized crime, new technologies in the administration of justice and reform of prison system.
