The Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, San Martin region's jungle, Cusco's Main Square, and Sacsayhuaman Archaeological Park stand out as settings for the movie "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," Chinese network CGTN en Español has highlighted.

The prestigious network CGTN en Español (China Global Television Network in Spanish) —formerly known as CCTV-Español— dedicated a special report to the gala screening of the latest film of the "Transformers" saga, organized by Peru's Embassy in China on June 29.

At the event, Peruvian Ambassador to the Asian Giant, Marco Balarezo, invited the Chinese audience, especially those who attended the gala, to visit Peru and discover the wonderful and impressive landscapes showcased in the film.

"Travel to Peru. Discover its archaeological and natural treasures and unveil its historic secrets," the diplomat expressed.

In the report, CGTN spoke with two attendees who expressed their interest in getting to know Peru and enjoying its beautiful landscapes.

A promotional video from Peru was also screened at the event, showing impressive images of Machu Picchu, the Amazon River, the Huascaran snow-capped mountain, the Colca Valley, and the flight of the condors, among others.
