Machu Picchu has won —for the second time in a row— the
World's Leading Tourist Attraction award this year, Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) has informed.
The
World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2018 took place in Lisbon, Portugal, unveiling the globe's finest travel brands.
Back in September, WTA announced South America's 2018 winners.
On that occasion, Peru won four awards:
Leading Tourist Attraction, Leading Culinary Destination, Leading Cultural Destination, and Leading Tourist Board.
