Following the confirmation of his departure from FC Lokomotiv Moscow, Peru's Jefferson Farfan said goodbye to the sporting club after three and a half years.

The Peruvian striker thanked the Russian professional soccer club and his fans on Saturday.

"I only have words of gratitude for the team, the fans and the president. I had wonderful years, and Lokomotiv will always be in my heart. After three and a half indelible years, I am very grateful for everything they have given me. I have felt at home," the 35-year-old player stated.

The Foquita (little seal) —as he is known in Peru— received an emotional farewell at the RZD Arena.

"Thank you for everything, Jeff," the Lokomotiv posted on Twitter.

Farfan played 69 games, scored 25 goals and won four titles.
