in the next WEF Annual Assembly to take place from May 22 to 26 in Davos, Switzerland.
As is known, the Annual Assembly —better known as the Davos Forum— was initially scheduled for January 2022. However, it was postponed due to the outbreak of the new variant of COVID-19.
An eventual participation of President Castillo in the Davos Forum will allow Peru —along with other Heads of State and business leaders— to address the most pressing challenges faced by Peruvian society and the international community so as to seek solutions to common problems —especially in post-pandemic times, based on a shared vision of economic progress with social inclusion and justice.
The WEF is an organization that promotes technical and political debates on global issues, conducts research, and publishes emblematic reports such as the Global Competitiveness Report, as well as promotes initiatives to contribute to the sustainable development of the planet.
