Peru's FA Min meets with senior executives of over 80 Japanese firms

Peruvian Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi on Thursday gave a presentation about the current situation and Peru's economy before senior executives of more than 80 Japanese companies.

The presentation took place within the framework of a seminar on economy and business opportunities, which addressed issues of mining, infrastructure, among others.

During the event, the government official conveyed a message of confidence to Japanese entrepreneurs on the South American country's macroeconomic strengths.

Moreover, Minister Gervasi underscored that Peru is a reliable partner, adding that it enjoys major complementarities with Japan in terms of mineral and energy resources, as well as food safety.

Likewise, the Foreign Affairs sector's head was in charge of the official launch of the Business Guide "Vale un Peru (Worth a Peru) 2023" in Japanese.

The above-mentioned guide contains information about the competitive business sector in the country, as well as the regulatory framework for foreign investment.

Finally, the Cabinet member reiterated Peru's commitment to respecting the democratic system, human rights, fundamental liberties, multilateralism, and international law.
