Peru's Expo Amazonica fair to draw investors from 12 countries

Expo Amazonica 2013 fair - one of the biggest trade shows to exhibit products of Amazon regions - expects to bring together 30,000 visitors, including investors from 12 countries, said Loreto's regional president Yvan Vasquez.
"There is great expectation for the 2013 edition of Expo Amazonica, 400 stands were sold and will offer the best of the Amazon region to investors," he said.

Vasquez noted that one the goals is to close business deals worth over 40 million soles (US$15.1 million).

He said the event expects the arrival of 30,000 visitors and about 2,000 members of several delegations.

The trade fair will run from August 12 through August 13 in Iquitos, located in Peru's Amazon region of Loreto.
