Peru's Ambassador presents credentials to King of Jordan

Diplomat Jose Betancourt Rivera presented his credential letters to King Abdullah II, accrediting him as Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Jordanian monarch took the opportunity to convey his best wishes to President Dina Boluarte and the Peruvian Government.

Similarly, King Abdullah II offered full support from Jordanian authorities for initiatives aimed at strengthening the bilateral relationship.

Besides, he expressed his admiration for Peruvian culture and reaffirmed the respect he feels for our history.

In turn, Ambassador Betancourt expressed his wish to strengthen and diversify the bilateral relationship in diplomatic, political, economic, and cultural terms.

Thus, he will maintain a constant dialogue with Jordanian Government authorities, as well as with business and academic sector leaders.

The formal ceremony took place at the Royal Palace in Amman on September 3.
