and the Ombudsman's Office have launched the "Strengthening the prevention of gender-based violence," a project that seeks to eliminate discrimination and gender violence against female citizens in Peru.
The initiative will be developed at a national level with an execution period of 24 months. It has a total budget of €2.00 million of which the
MIMP contributes €460,448, followed by the
Ombudsman's Office (€41,280), and
AECID (€1,500).
At the meeting, the operation plan was approved, as well as the conformation of the Consultative Council. The latter will be composed of representatives of the civil society (NGOs and groups), who will meet annually for external project advice.
