Peru wins four Muay Thai world titles

Three Peruvian athletes grabbed gold medals at the 16th World Muay Thai Championship in Bangkok, and 16-year-old Martina Muñoz was crowned WMF world champion.

At the event, Eduardo Henostroza became the world champion among adults 60 kg. He defeated the representatives from India, Suriname, Algeria, and France. 

Likewise, Fiorella Conroy beat her Russian opponent, which turned her into the adults 54 kg category's queen.

For his part, Piero Pineda, 16, became the world junior champion in the 63.5 category after winning the final against his counterpart from Kyrgyzstan.
