Peru defeated Trinidad and Tobago (3-1) at the 16th Women's Volleyball Pan American Cup taking place in Lima.
Peru claimed the triumph with following scores: 25-19, 24-26, 25-21 and 25-17.
With this result, Peruvians sustain their undefeated streak.
Performances of national athletes Carla Rueda and Angela Leyva stood out during the game.
Previously, Peru beat Chile (3-0) and Cuba (3-0) last Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
The Incas will face Canada today.
Participating countries in the tournament are: Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States and Venezuela.
The event will run thru June 25th, 2017.
