Peru's Consul General to Toronto Ana Cecilia Gervasi participated in the 12th edition of the
Toronto Global Forum as part of the Andean nation's economic promotion activities abroad.
Other speakers included Consuls General Christian Rodriguez (Colombia), Silvana Montes de Oca (Uruguay), and Beatriz Romero (Ecuador).
This panel addressed the principal characteristics of Latin American communities in the Canadian city.
Other topics of discussion included the opportunities in bilateral ties —mainly in the economic and trade fields— and the possibilities offered by the Latin American Bilateral Trade Initiative (LABTI) for Latin American communities and the City of Toronto.
