President Martin Vizcarra on Friday affirmed Peru still possesses great moral reserves to achieve progress and development and confirmed his Government will continue working firmly to improve health and education services.
His remarks were made as he introduced the regulations governing the comprehensive financial compensation and payment policy for State health workers.
In his speech, the Head of State called on health professionals to do their best when taking care of patients.
Making efforts to invest in infrastructure is possible —he said— but all our efforts are temporary and useless to reach our goals without solid foundations.
"Needs exceed budgetary possibilities significantly. We always have to prioritize (…) if we had a generous national budget, we would meet every need. However,
order has to be established, and we'll always
prioritize health and
education," the statesman noted.
