The Government of South Korea has donated food, personal protective equipment (PPE) and technological equipment to residents of Lima's eastern Ate district for them to continue receiving virtual classes during the COVID-19 emergency in Peru.
"It is time for us to remember the meaning of solidarity and global cooperation, because the pandemic cannot be controlled and managed by the effort of a single country," he added.
For his part, the representative of the board of directors of Amauta community, Edwin Chagua, thanked the South Korean Government for the support provided to the Peruvian and Venezuelan residents. In addition, he stressed the importance of not letting down the guard in the face of the pandemic.
The South Korean Government has additionally delivered molecular tests, other medical supplies and technical assistance through virtual seminars geared towards health personnel.
