Peru receives donation from PAHO

The Peruvian Ministry of Health (Minsa) on Tuesday received from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) a donation consisting of medical supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) that will contribute to strengthening the care of patients affected by COVID-19, as well as the fight against the pandemic.

On this occasion, Minsa also received digital equipment that will improve access to information aimed combating the virus.

Within this framework, Minister Pilar Mazzetti highlighted the constant support provided by PAHO to the South American country.

The event also saw the presence of PAHO Representative in Peru Ruben Mayorga, as well as of Deputy Minister Luis Suarez (Public Health) and Victor Bocangel (Benefits and Health Insurance), among other Minsa authorities.
