Peru's Prime Minister Anibal Torres on Monday welcomed the start of the 2022 school year at public schools nationwide.
In a post on Twitter, he wished every success to more than 4 million schoolchildren who will attend face-to-face and semi-face-to-face classes starting today.
"We share the excitement of their first day (of school), and we are committed to continue working for an adequate return of students throughout the country. #TodosVuelven (Everybody returns)," Torres remarked.
He also mentioned that Ministers of State would simultaneously supervise the return to school in 19 regions throughout the country.
