President Martin Vizcarra on Friday reaffirmed his support for Prime Minister Cesar Villanueva.
The Head of State affirmed that, just like all Peruvians, the Executive Branch found out about Hinostroza's departure on October 17.
However, the investigation undertaken by his administration determined the ex-judge's escape had occurred 10 days earlier.
According to Peruvian leader, the prime minister mixed up the dates but corrected himself before Congress.
“This is an act of corruption (…),” Vizcarra expressed.
