Peru President receives new Ambassadors' credentials

11:20 | Lima, Dec. 13.

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra has received credential letters from the Ambassadors of Thailand, Italy, Brazil, and Colombia.

The Head of State welcomed the following envoys to the Inca country: Kesanee Palanuwongse (Thailand), Giancarlo Maria Curcio (Italy), Rodrigo Baena Soares (Brazil), and Maria Claudia Mosquera Jaramillo (Colombia).

The ceremony took place at the Government Palace's Golden Hall in the presence of Foreign Affairs Minister Nestor Popolizio.

Within this framework, Peru and the Asian nation rely on a broad and diverse bilateral agenda, while the Inca country's relation with Italy is characterized by a continued political dialogue.

On the other hand, there is a strategic alliance with Brazil supported by shared politics.

It should be noted Colombia and Peru are both members of the Pacific Alliance and hold Binational Cabinets every year.
