Peruvian President Ollanta Humala received on Thursday diplomatic credentials from new Ambassadors of Finland, Brazil, Czech Republic, Canada, Guatemala and Saudi Arabia at Lima's Government Palace.
The newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Peru Mika Koskinen was the first foreign official to present his credentials.
Later, the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Muneer Ibrahim Albenjabi did same by handing over his letters of credence to Peru's top official.
Afterwards, the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil Marcos Raposo Lopes presented his credentials to the Peruvian Head of State.
Right after that, the new Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Peru Pavel Bechny was officially introduced to President Humala, who received corresponding documents.
Finally, Mr. Humala received letters from the top representatives of Canada, Gwyneth Kutz; and the Republic of Guatemala, Irma Araujo Samoyoa.
The ceremony was held at the Golden Hall in the presence of Peru's Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Maria Sanchez and diplomatic missions appointed to Lima.
Following protocol ceremonies, the Head of State held private audiences with each of the officials.
