Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra, First Lady Maribel Diaz, and Deputy Public Health Minister Nancy Zerpa on Saturday oversaw a primary care intervention event.

Children, pregnant women, senior citizens, and people with comorbidities residing in Lima's El Agustino district received health services at the event called "Target Shooting against Diseases."

The free-of-charge service offered vaccinations, as well as anemia and HIV screenings, among others.

In addition, the 'Mobile Vaccine' was presented —a motorcycle vehicle that will bring primary care closer to the vulnerable population in the area.

While touring the stands that provide health care services, the Head of State dialogued with residents and reiterated the recommendations for protection against COVID-19, such as hand washing, wearing face masks, and maintaining social distance.
