Peru President meets with OAS Secretary General

Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski held a working meeting with Organization of American States (OAS) Secretary-General Luis Almagro to discuss several issues included in the international agenda.

The gathering also served to address topics related to the eighth edition of the Summit of the Americas, which will be held in Lima on April 13-14, 2018.

Within this framework, Almagro thanked the hospitality extended by the Head of State and praised the way he leads Peru at an international level.

Almagro was joined by OAS Special Senior Advisor Gustavo Ricardo Cinosi on the occasion.

The ceremony also saw the presence of Peruvian Ambassadors Ana Rosa Valdivieso (Peru's Permanent Representative to OAS), Hugo de Zela (Foreign Affairs Ministry's Director-General for the Americas) and Antonio Garcia Revilla (Foreign Affairs Ministry's Director-General for Multilateral and Global Affairs), as well as Presidential Office's International Affairs Advisor Roberto Rodriguez.

Following said meeting, the OAS representative headed to Lima's Torre Tagle Palace to meet with Foreign Affairs Minister Ricardo Luna.
