Peru President meets with Conmebol Chair

Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra has met with South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) Chairman Alejandro Dominguez to coordinate details about the organization of Copa Libertadores' final match to take place in the capital city of Lima on November 23.

The meeting, held at the Government Palace on Wednesday, saw the presence of Ministers Carlos Moran (Interior) and Edgar Vasquez (Foreign Trade and Tourism).


On November 23, River Plate (Argentina) and Flamengo (Brazil) will face each other at Lima-based Ate Monumental Stadium.

Initially, the game was supposed to take place in Santiago (Chile). However, the location was changed due to the social unrest currently underway in the neighboring country.
