The President of the Republic Pedro Castillo headed the 12th Decentralized Council of Ministers in Huanuco on Tuesday.

The event brought together regional and local authorities, as well as civil society representatives from that region.

This session took place at Hermilio Valdizan National University.

During the meeting, the territorial development agenda was addressed, collecting the prioritized proposals issued by authorities and the population, with a view to closing inequality gaps, in favor of the more than 800,000 inhabitants.

The 12th Decentralized Council of Ministers began with welcoming words from Huanuco Province Mayor Jose Luis Villavicencio, Region Governor Erasmo Fernandez, and the participation of Prime Minister Anibal Torres.

Subsequently, the provincial mayors of Huanuco, Ambo, Dos de Mayo, Huacaybamba, Huamalies, Lauricocha, Leoncio Prado, Marañon, Pachitea, Puerto Inca, and Yarowilca, as well as representatives of civil society and ministers, presented projects promoted by the Executive Branch in Huanuco.

The event was brought to an end by the Head of State.

Decentralized Councils of Ministers allow the Executive Branch to identify and attend to the needs of the population and difficulties faced by regional, as well as local governments, in the implementation of public works and projects for the benefit of their peoples.
