on Tuesday inaugurated the Hospital Bicentenario (Bicentennial Hospital) in Chao district, northern La Libertad region.
It is one of the health establishments that feature the most cutting-edge technology currently being implemented at the national level.
The health facility hosts 56 hospital beds distributed among four modules (rooms).
In total, it features 16 modules and will provide care for COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients.
Today's ceremony also saw the presence of Labor and Employment Promotion Minister Alejandro Salas; Social Health Insurance System (EsSalud) Executive-President Gino Davila; and Viru Province Mayor Andres Chavez.
