Peruvian President Martin Vizcarra on Tuesday reaffirmed that his
, adding he hopes conditions will be created in order to listen to all parties.
In this sense, the Head of State indicated the Ministers of Housing, Construction, and Sanitation; Agriculture; and Environment are directly involved in the project. Thus, the government as a whole is willing to discuss the matter.
"We hope the conditions are created. Two parties are necessary in order to
begin a dialogue," he expressed.
Likewise, the top official stressed that solutions, consensus, and the best decisions are found
through dialogue.
Furthermore, the statesman pointed out the
construction permit does not mean construction will start, as the conditions for this investment are not present.
He went on to add Arequipa is an important region for the Inca country that can count on the government's support for its development.
Remarks were made after delivering water and sewage works in Lima's Ate Vitarte district.
