The President of the Republic Francisco Sagasti on Friday night congratulated the Peruvian soccer squad over its qualification for the semifinals of the 2021 Copa America.
"This triumph makes all of Peru happy. Let us continue working with efforts, honor, commitment, and unity to be capable of achieving the goals. Go Peru!" the Head of State wrote on Twitter.
Peru will face home-team Brazil in the next stage on Monday, July 5.
