on Friday participated in the inauguration of Chota Bicentennial Hospital and toured its facilities in Pingobamba Bajo village.
It was reported that said hospital will provide care to more than 22,000 Social Health Insurance System (EsSalud) patients.
The new hospital was built and equipped thanks to an investment worth more than S/25 million (over US$6.67 million).
This healthcare center has 42 hospital beds, a surgical center, an obstetric center, an emergency area, an outpatient clinic, and an oxygen plant.
It was built on more than 13,000 square meters donated to EsSalud by Chota Province Municipality.
During a meeting with Llama district population, Mr. Castillo expressed his support for Peruvian farmers, through various projects aimed at guaranteeing water and transportation routes for their products.
