In remarks to TVPeru, the Head of State explained that his administration relies on a work plan and its mentality is focused on responding to the country with immediate tasks and actions.
As Mr. Castillo detailed, last Monday he was coordinating with
Education Minister Rosendo Serna how to distribute digital tablets to schoolchildren on time and give that information to the country, when the press raised a question about a topic "that Peru knows is in an investigation sphere."
"If the press has felt uncomfortable, it is a natural reaction. If there is a situation in which part of the susceptibility of the press has been hurt, I apologize accordingly, and we will continue working," he expressed.
The top official affirmed that this episode will serve both parties to work in accordance with the country's agenda.
Remarks were made from Lima's Ventanilla district, where he arrived for the presentation of the 450th soup kitchen with free-of-charge connection to natural gas supply thanks to the Bonogas Program.
There, the dignitary stressed the need for children to be well fed, based on a nutritional program, noting that this favors better learning, as well as the development of talents and skills.
Mr. Castillo also called on mayors and regional governors to join efforts so as to improve the conditions of educational infrastructure nationwide.
