on Friday called on regional and municipal authorities to execute 100% of the budget allocated to them for the current year.
"Only in this way can we say that we are working with the people," Mrs. Boluarte said in her speech at Pichanaki Stadium, in Junin region.
The top official emphasized that these authorities "have the obligation to use their entire budget" for the benefit of citizens and the country.
Call for unity
"All regions have to walk with the flag's red-and-white heart," said Mrs. Boluarte, who reminded citizens that 2024 marks the Independence Bicentennial of Peru and Latin America, consolidated thanks to the Battles of Junin and Ayacucho.
The Head of State said "there is no time to dwell on hatred and indifference, nor to look down on our sisters and brothers."
"It is time to unite, embrace one another, walk together, and open up the path towards the development, progress, and well-being of Peruvian families," she emphasized.
Within this framework, Mrs. Boluarte warned that "we are not going to stop; those hatreds, those messages are not going to stop us (either)."
"Here, we stand firm and united," she expressed.
The president said that from the Government "we are doing things well."
In this sense, Mrs. Boluarte indicated that she works "with clean hands, without stealing from the people."
"There is no right to steal from the people, so that some can get rich and then say that they are politicians when they are not. They have to face justice and be where they must be," she expressed.
In addition to highlighting that Junin Region Government ranked first in the execution of budget allocated to said entities in 2023, President Dina Boluarte pledged to return to this jurisdiction to officialize the districtization demanded by the residents of Sangani population center in Chanchamayo province.
