This activity saw the presence of representatives from sectors and institutions linked to disaster risk management.
The
National Multi-hazard Drill was held on
May 31 at 10:00 am (local time) in order to strengthen preparation and response capabilities of the entities that make up the
National Disaster Risk Management System (SINAGERD) and of the population in general.
This measure was aimed to respond efficiently and in a timely manner to hazards of natural origin or induced by human action.
Drills involve the mobilization of personnel and resources, as well as allow the assessment of effectiveness and efficiency of the Emergency Operation Plans, Contingency Plans, Operational Continuity Plans, protocols, and procedures by members.
