Peru: President Boluarte participates in presentation of ambassadors' credentials

The President of the Republic Dina Boluarte on Thursday participated in the ceremony marking the presentation of credential letters by the concurrent Ambassadors to Peru of Bulgaria, Vietnam, the Philippines, Ireland, and Bangladesh.

The ceremony began with the presentation of the credentials by Bojidara Nikolava Sartchadjeiva, the Ambassador from the Republic of Bulgaria, a country with which Peru has maintained diplomatic relations since 1969.

Afterwards, the concurrent Ambassador to Peru of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Bui Van Nghi, presented his credentials. Both countries have maintained diplomatic relations since 1944.

The concurrent Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Peru, Celeste Vinzon-Balatbat, also did the same. Peru and the Philippines have maintained diplomatic relations since November 1974.

In turn, the concurrent Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland, Colum Hatchell, delivered his credentials to Peru's top official.

Lastly, the concurrent Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Peru, Muhammad Abdul Muhith, handed over his credentials to the Peruvian Head of State.

Following the presentation of credential letters that accredit them as ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary, President Boluarte posed for an official photograph with the envoys.

The Head of State was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Javier Gonzalez-Olaechea during this event.

It took place at the Government Palace in the Peruvian capital, Lima.
