The World Travel Market is the world's leading travel industry event for networking with professionals and conducting business.

This leading event for the travel industry took place from November 6 to 8 in the city of London, United Kingdom.

The Peruvian delegation was present with a 300m2 booth strategically located in the Americas Pavilion and had the participation of 30 Peruvian companies as co-exhibitors

The participating companies included Amazon Explorama, Andean Adventures, Aqua Expeditions, Aranwa Hotels, Braidy Wonders, D'elise Hotel, Domiruth, HHP Hotel (Hoteles Hacienda), Holiday Inn Lima Miraflores, IberoStar Selection Miraflores, Inca Rail, Inca Route, Kichwa, Latin American Trips, and Libertador Hoteles.

LATAM Airlines also had a space at PromPeru's booth, where it promoted the start of its direct flights between Lima and London from December 1 of this year. There will be 5 frequencies per week, one for each day.

Thanks to this direct flight, British travelers will have the opportunity to discover Peru in a more accessible way than ever.

PromPeru, through the Tourism Directorate and the Commercial Office in London, aimed to promote Peruvian tourism at WTM with a focus on sustainability and culture.

It was also essential to gather data from professionals and information about new industry trends.

As part of the activities, a Media Event was organized on the evening of November 6, attended by the press, all Peru's co-exhibitors, and VIP clients.

On November 7, a seminar was held in collaboration with the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), targeting members of the association who attended WTM.

During the event days, there were presentations of Peruvian folk dances. Moreover, the country's cuisine was represented with superfoods such as cacao and coffee.

It is worth noting that the United Kingdom is a prioritized market for Peru due to the number of British tourists arriving and their spending capacity. Until September of this year, 27,097 travelers from the United Kingdom have visited Peru.
