The
President of the Council of Ministers Vicente Zeballos presided over a new meeting of the High-Level Multisectoral Commission to Combat Coronavirus, which evaluates measures adopted by the Executive Branch as part of the state of national emergency.
The
High-Level Multisectoral Commission to Combat Coronavirus is chaired by the Cabinet Chief Vicente Zeballos and, among other things, is responsible for leading coordination and articulation efforts —aimed at prevention, protection, and control of COVID-19— made by different entities with competence in the area.
Additionally, the commission proposes actions and activities and keeps track of them.
Furthermore, it considers measures that contribute to the fulfillment of the Government's objectives in the face of this situation.
