More than 500 Peruvian coffee growers will participate in the 2nd International Fair of Special Coffees of Peru (Ficafe) taking place in Villa Rica district on September 14th-16th.

The event will be officially launched on September 6th at Peru's Government Palace in the presence of President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.

In this regard, said fair has been declared of national interest.

According to Villa Rica Mayor Jhonny Inga, organizers expect to welcome more than 3,000 domestic and foreign specialists on the occasion.

Within this framework, coffee growers currently select the best beans to draw the attention of exporters, importers, supermarkets, entrepreneurs and government organizations.

As is known, Villa Rica coffee is ecologically cultivated without any pesticides to ensure its quality on international markets.

Thus, Ficafe serves as an international platform for Pasco region and its coffee producers to showcase their goods.

The fair will also feature chefs and baristas. Likewise, it will include activities such as business rounds, conferences and tasting sessions, among others.
