Peru: National Institute of Radio and Television signs agreement with Deutsche Welle

The State-run National Institute of Radio and Television of Peru (IRTP) has signed a cooperation agreement with Germany's international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW).

In this sense, the Inca country's TV Peru, Canal Ipe, and Radio Nacional will be able to access the content produced by DW. 

The event took place at Torre Tagle Palace —the seat of Peru's Foreign Affairs Ministry— in Lima.


Thus, IRTP continues with its policy to approach the main public broadcasters in the world, so viewers can access high-quality content. 

Founded in 1953, DW is Germany's international broadcaster, its headquarters are located in Bonn and Berlin. Its mission is to convey a comprehensive image of the European country, report events and developments, incorporate German and other perspectives in a journalistically independent manner.

The National Institute of Radio and Television of Peru (IRTP) is attached to the Ministry of Culture. Its aim is to coordinate actions for spreading educational, informational, cultural, and entertainment content.
