Peru: Foreign Affairs Ministry authorizes diplomatic officer's trip to France

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has authorized the trip —on commission of services— of Ambassador Carmen del Rocio Azurin Araujo, director of Environment at the General Directorate for Multilateral and Global Affairs, to the city of Paris (France) from May 24 to June 3, 2023.

The diplomatic officer's trip was authorized via Ministerial Resolution No. 0365-2023-RE, which was published on Sunday in the Official Gazette El Peruano.

The Ambassador will participate in the second session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC2) to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, to be held in Paris from May 22 to June 2 this year.

The expenses related to the fulfillment of the commission of services will be covered by the budget of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition, the above-mentioned diplomatic officer shall present a documented report on the actions taken and results obtained during the authorized grip to Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi Diaz within fifteen (15) calendar days after her return to the country.

It was stated that the Ministerial Resolution No 0365-2023-RE does not imply an exemption or exoneration from taxes or tax rights whatever their type or denomination.

Foreign Affairs Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi Diaz signed the document that authorizes trip of Ambassador Azurin Araujo.
